Conscious Capital

Hollistic believes in the conscious investing of capital in people, ideas, and projects that can create a positive and meaningful impact on society. Our methods include enabling strategic capital allocation through a globally diversified investment fund that structurally supports impact-driven initiatives, mobilizing private investments in social and environmental capital projects, facilitating sponsorships towards co-developed programs with select non-profit organizations and research-based institutions, offering scholarships to support academic and "at risk" work in humanitarian fields, rewarding exceptional humanitarian work, and providing alternate humanitarian-associated means of settling debts, each of which is further described below.

Hollistic Humanitarian Impact Day (H-Day):

Contributions toward our capital programs begin at a minimum of five hundred dollars (or the equivalent in another currency) and can be initiated by completing the application form at the bottom of this page. Smaller contributions in support of our humanitarian efforts are always welcome and can be made directly through the shopping cart page. All contributions are received in exchange for a sponsorship service of equivalent value, in accordance with our standard sponsorship framework. While contributions are accepted year-round, Hollistic's annual Humanitarian Impact Day (H-Day) is on the 1st of April and serves as a pivotal fundraising milestone, with donations steadily increasing in the preceding weeks. This dedicated giving period enables donors to maximize their support when it is most effective, ensuring early-stage funding for key initiatives. Contributions peak just before H-Day, allowing for the full deployment of resources from that day forward to drive meaningful change through our impact programs. The following symbolic graph represents the momentum of contributions leading up to H-Day:

Hollistic Investment Management Fund (H-Fund):

H-Fund is Hollistic's comprehensive investment vehicle, structured as a private strategy fund of funds that employs a triple-hedge strategy to allocate clients' investable capital into select, geographically diversified ETFs and ETF-like funds. While primarily focused on global equities, H-Fund also includes minor allocations to multi-currency liquid funds and physically backed precious metals such as gold, serving as a capital composition hedge to help offset equity risk while supporting capital flow management and surplus optimization. As a fund of funds, H-Fund provides diversified exposure across major global regions, functioning as a geographic market hedge that mitigates country-specific economic fluctuations while targeting investments in dynamic, high-growth companies shaping their respective markets. The fund's international structure enables a currency exposure hedge by reducing the impact of foreign exchange volatility through built-in diversification across multiple underlying currencies. To optimize long-term returns and minimize internal capital gains taxes, H-Fund follows a disciplined rebalancing strategy, aiming to execute major portfolio adjustments only after the underlying funds have met their long-term holding requirements. Additionally, the fund employs advanced execution strategies and technology to reduce market impact during high-volume transactions, ensuring efficient capital deployment and price stability. The fund’s fee structure comprises a percentage of assets under management (AUM) and generated profits, with the AUM fees fully allocated to Hollistic’s impact capital programs. As a result, H-Fund not only delivers globally diversified, multi-instrument hedged, tax-efficient, high-growth financial returns but also ensures continuous capital flow into Hollistic’s impact initiatives, fostering purpose-driven investing for meaningful and sustainable impact. We believe H-Fund represents the most effective long-term investment strategy for achieving a well-structured return-to-risk ratio by integrating global diversification with a focus on the highest-performing opportunities. Accordingly, rather than offering a broad menu of thematic funds, H-Fund serves as our singular all-encompassing investment vehicle, fully aligned with Hollistic’s core investment principles and designed to maximize long-term value for investors.

While we aim to outperform the benchmark by several percentage points per year net of costs, investment results depend on market conditions and other external factors. Hollistic Structured Sponsorships (H-Sponsor):

Hollistic facilitates financial support through sponsorships to select non-profit organizations and research institutions working towards societal improvement. Non-profit support is primarily focused on the developing regions of the world in the areas of housing, healthcare, and education. Research support includes institutions located globally, in sectors and projects demonstrating potential for significant impact. Our approach involves organizing funds and related resources from our donors, whether through direct tax-deductible contributions or CSR-driven commitments, in a structured and transparent manner to develop a portfolio of impact-driven initiatives, ensuring responsible engagement and strategic allocation within the grant programs we co-develop with them. Further, our grant facilitating process includes frequent monitoring, tracking, proof of use, and detailed reporting. In recognition of this support, our sponsored non-profit organizations provide a variety of promotional activities and acknowledge the contributors in relevant publications or communications. For further details, donations, sponsorship applications, and research grant applications, you may reach us through the respective form at the bottom of this page.

Hollistic Scholarship Program (H-Scholar):

H-Scholar is our annual scholarship program that awards a monetary scholarship contributed by our donors to be used towards funding the selected recipient’s academic degree program (Master’s level or higher) and/or teaching, research, or policy work at any well-acclaimed university in the world in a field related to humanitarian work. The scholarship program accepts applications through March and April of each year (urgent applications, providing a reason for such urgency, are considered at other times as well). Applicants "at risk" due to any form of injustice or oppression may include the relevant details in their application statement, which will be given due consideration. Scholarship recipients are required to demonstrate professional work towards the improvement of the plight of an underprivileged segment of society and must also serve in the role of an independent contractor for our organization or any of our selected partners within one year of receiving the scholarship. Additionally, each H-Scholar is assigned a mentor who will work with them in a coaching capacity during the first year of their academic program. In exceptional cases, the scholarship may be extended to alternate, private, or professional forms of humanitarian-related training or activities outside of a traditional academic setting. For further details, contributions, and applications to the H-Scholar program, you may reach us through the respective form at the bottom of this page.

Hollistic Extraordinary Person Award (HEPA):

HEPA is our annual award for exceptional and distinguished work completed in any humanitarian project by an individual or their organization, including through the overcoming of significant challenges of any form of injustice or oppression. Nominations are accepted through March and April of each year, and are made from any person in an academic- or policy-related position globally, as well as from our internal board, on behalf of another individual or organization. Each nomination requires a detailed assessment of the reasoning for the nomination. The award includes a monetary sum to be used towards the acceleration of the award winner's humanitarian project efforts within one year of receiving the award. For further details, contributions, and applications to the HEPA program, you may reach us through the respective form at the bottom of this page.

Hollistic Debt-to-Fellow Program (H-Fellow):

H-Fellow is our fellowship program for loan repayment. In this program, any individual (or in certain cases, organizations) with debt accrued for any reasonable and verifiable purpose and a demonstrated inability to repay their debt, may apply for our debt repayment program, which is covered by one or more of our donors. Accepted applicants must commit to providing independent contract humanitarian work for our organization or any of our selected partners for a period of time determined to be commensurate with the debt. Participants can potentially graduate the program debt-free and with the title of "H-Fellow," representing our sign of respect for these newfound alchemists of society. For further details, contributions, and applications to the H-Fellow program, you may reach us through the respective form at the bottom of this page.

Hollistic Debt-to-Philanthropist Program (H-Philo):

H-Philo is our philanthropy program, enabling the settlement of one's debt to another individual or organization by earmarking a mutually agreed upon percentage of the debt towards humanitarian work. In this program, any individual or organization that owes a monetary amount to another individual or organization for any reasonable and verifiable purpose may apply for a percentage of their debt to be used towards humanitarian work by our organization or any of our selected partners. Both participating parties will receive the title of “H-Philo” as recognition of their status in the program and as a sign of respect for these newfound caregivers of society. This arrangement incentivizes philanthropic work and can also help to facilitate a quicker and more positive debt repayment experience. For further details and applications to the H-Philo program, you may reach us through the respective form at the bottom of this page.
